Confirm connection with a Mackie 1202 and PT
I have a Mackie 1202 mixer hooked up this way. I have a Roland JV-1010 left and right audio going into 5/6 channel on the board. I have the Mbox2 left and right line outs (not the monitors)going to 7/8 on the board. I was told to use aux outs from the Mackie to go into the Mbox2. I'm using powered monitors and there going into the Mackie left and right main outs. I'm getting a little whine when I have the monitor set to a listenable level when playing tracks in PT. Also the audio tracks seems a little hissy when I'm playing them back. I'm recording a clean, double coil pickup guitar going straight into line one on the mixer.
Can anyone confirm if this is the way to use this setup, or are there better ways to do this? I can provide more info if needed. Thanks, Jerry |
