Default FR - AIR instrument MIDI mappings

Can an option be implemented for the tediously inputted MIDI mappings to be retained - instead of the current system where every instantiation of an instrument, in every session, "forgets" the MIDI mappings you've painstakingly inputted.

It's been noted and will be on the list for AIR/Digi to look at.

There's nothing to figure out in terms of what we can tell each other here, just a case of Digi/AIR looking into it.

OK - But a workaround for now is to create a new session, create new instruments and map them as you wish. Save that session and then use that session as a template, the CC mapping is saved within sessions.

Maybe he meant post here when we run into issues instead of waiting for someone else to mention it first?

I've got a whole list of feature requests for Transfuser (28 so far!) - would you recommend I post them here or should I send them to you seeing as you have the AIR teams ear?

Russ the request is for new instantiated AIR VI's, yes the template workaround works, however a newly instantiated AIR VI will exhibit the OP's concerns.

If I'm reading you right, DigiTechSupt in this post explained the mapping differences between Control Surfaces and MIDI Controllers. The Axiom although a MIDI Controller maps out as a Control Surface, thus saving mapped parameters as a User Default.
