I think everyone here is offering the same advice but with slightly different wording. Hopefully the OP gets his answer here and moves on with great success.

Short order answer, YES. Most everyone is running multiple hard drives. OS and ALL programs need to go on the system drive, record your sessions to your secondary drive.
Unless you have a major affinity for constant buffer errors.... |
