Default Pro Tools needs an editable event list for automation lanes!

Visual editing of automation values, in their lanes, generally works well. But I've been running into cases where it's nearly impossible to get the granularity I need. For example, ModDelay III has an automatable "Delay Left" setting, and in order to get it to give me a classic "whoosh" of flanging, I need to be able to draw a line between its two lowest values, which seem to be 0.0 and 0.8. It is extremely hard to fine-tune the endpoint value to 0.8, even with the lane set to the maximum possible height on my screen, and even while dragging the point with the Ctrl key: it's very jerky, and the stepped values keep changing, rarely giving me access to 0.8. An editable event list for this would be the perfect solution.

Fully agree. That comes in very handy, especially when you have to place those Control Points to a precise beat or timecode.

Here is a screenshot of Logic Pro. It treats Automation Control Points like MIDI Events (called Fader Events) and you can edit them in the same type of Event List list as the MIDi Event List.
