I'm not sure if anyone said this or not. I didn't want to read the whole thread to find out. However, if my fix works for someone so they don't go through the hassle I did, then good.
  • Open Eleven Rack
  • When it sits in the task bar and won't come up, go to task manager, right click on Eleven Rack and click bring to front
  • Close Eleven Rack
  • Open Eleven Rack
  • When it still doesn't work, repeat this process
  • Repeat it a third time if needed.

This is an insane solution and makes no sense to me why this would work. However, after doing it THREE times, it now opens normally and (so far) has done so about 6 times.
Thank you to cdvh5150 , the person on the first page of the thread for leading me down this road. Only thing different from his solution was to repeat the process.

I have to mess with the task manager every time I load the editor. Ever since I installed it it has been a problem. I just keep hoping Avid will do something sooner or later. It is a definite bug, and a big one. A year and a half and counting.

Default Eleven Rack goes off all Three screens

POOF!!

Just "finished" our clean Win 10 installation on our new HP Z 640 Workstation.

Most stable Win installation I've ever made still some issues remain of course, like when I installed my Eleven rack drivers which enabled my Eleven Rack hardware to be used. Then after I installed the standalone Eleven Rack editor all kinds of Industrial standardization happened because it simply went of all Three screens, Deep into Cyberspace for real. Perhaps to join our ProTools 11's fate since we got fed up with all the "Sorry ProTools needs to restart the Computer BS and switched to Samplitude pro X2 (and Yeah baby, finally a DAW that won't stick it's BIG nose between me and my work)..

Still it would be NICE to get help with the 11 Rack editor.. Without paying for Avid's Industry standard "Support"..

Sir Carl's Evil Twin..

Are you saying the 11R Editor is not showing on screen?

Have you tried this?

unfortunately, it seems Avid has left us out to dry and hasn't updated anything for 11r in YEARS.... but there is a way to get the editor back
Let's all encourage Avid to do the right thing and fix some of these basic bugs (and put the 11R window back into Pro Tools!!!!)
