Pro Tools -> Final Cut -> Pro Tools
I need to pass a Pro Tools session to a FCP editor, get his tweaks and get the session back for final mix. Evidently he needs Automatic Duck to import the OMF? Is Final Cut 7 unable to import OMF without this add-on?
Also, would you recommend aligning my audio so all sounds start and end on even frames? I'm told that FCP will auto-generate head and tail files for anything that is in between frame borders. Either he or I would need to delete these sounds later on and "pull out" the heads & tails of the original sounds. Not to mention we'll encounter the 23.976 FPS / 24 FPS confusion going either direction via OMF? Won't FCP think my 23.976 session is 24? Shawn |
