Default HD native core purchase help

At Sweetwater the price of an HD Native card is roughly $3,500. All I want to know is does this include HD software as well in that purchase price?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I can't seem to find a straight answer!

Yes, it ships with either PT 8.5 or PT9 (check with Sweetwater)

Not sure if you are kidding but. . . .if you already own an HD2 Accel system wouldn't the HD Native card be a downgrade?

They are on a par with each other. HD3 no, HD2 yes.

Yeah I understand but with the HD2 you have the added benefit of TDM. Thats why I feel it is a downgrade. . . correct me if I am wrong but the HD Native = no TDM right?

No TDM functions, but Tom is referring to mixing power and tracks/voices when talking about HD Native being more powerful than HD1.
