ASIO. sound card.

I use the Echo Mia and run stuff like Reason and Cubase (for VSTi). The 2 outs on the Mia go into my Digi 001 ins. Works great.

ASIO does not route audio internally. What you are referring to is technology such as ReWire. I hear ReWire support is coming for PTLE and Reason if it's not here already.

The Echo ASIO drivers work very well on XP. When recording in PTLE, there's a slight delay when you first start recording but that's nothing a little nudge can't fix.

don't buy a soundcard if you intend to use it for reason only. rewire for PT is literally just a few weeks away. just hang in there and buy PTLE6.1 when it comes out...

Since the weekend is here, I want to
set up REASON on my protools machine.

Which sound card works the best via ASIO
and PTLE?

Will I be sending the physical outs
of the sound card to the ins of
the 002? (or does ASIO do this?)
