Korg Triton Studio as a controller

First off:

Korg Triton Studio 88-key
Digi 002 Interface
Pro Tools 8.03
EastWest Colossus 1.0.6.002

What I'd like to do is assign, in Colossus, 8 different instruments to eight different MIDI channels (which I've been able to do just fine) then, in a live situation, use the Triton to switch what channel it's using so I can use whatever sound I need according to the music I'm playing. But it seems no matter what settings I use with either Pro Tools or the Triton, the only channel that gets used is MIDI channel 1.

I'm using the Korg Triton Studio 1 patch that came with the software and I can use it as a controller for MIDI channel 1 without problem...

Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction??? I've duplicated this post to a couple of Korg forums as well.

It might be better if I show you what I have for settings and what other options seem to be available to me. Now keep in mind, I could use omni as a setting in my VST, but then all my sounds will play at once. I want to be able to load eight VST sounds into computer memory, but choose which one I play through MIDI using the Triton.
