Default copy protect

is anyone familiar with a copy protection setting in pro tools? i would like to back up my session files to a cd but the cd burning software says the files are copy protected. Please help.

As far as I know, there is no copy protection available either in Protools or in Win XP. This is likely a setting of some sort in your copying program (Roxio, etc.).

Also, this is a response I have gotten when I accidentally try to write to a Cd that is already used/finalized.

You can copy protect a bounced file. Check your settings before bouncing.
