Actually, they've had an exchange in place since the summer for LE interfaces, but now it's superceded by the much better offer of $1500 off an HD Native and interface bundle, with no trade in needed.

This only applies to the Omni bundle and HD IO 8x8 bundle. The 16x16 bundle is not discounted.

http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PTNativeOmni/

You can click "4 models to choose from."

HD Native/Omni is $4499. HD Native and HD 8x8 is $5499.

My Sweetwater rep thinks these will probably end up being the permanent prices. Nothing official on that, though.

Replacing my 003R with a LS56 was the best thing I did for my DAW.

I'm gonna miss my old MBox 2, but I already have a potential buyer so I think it's time to get me a new portable interface.

I'm not really sad to see the old stuff go. Now that we have interface freedom, the choices are immense and versatile. I do hope Avid comes out with an 003 successor (particularly one with a control surface), but I'll be happy with my LS56 for a long time.

TDM has a replacement HDX. HDN is mid to high-end existing product. EOL products and then mobile/entry level interfaces. For a hardware company, EOL products leaves a big gap that shouldn't be filled by ASIO and Core Audio devices, no?

It's a huge hole. If the MBox was the entry level loss leader one would assume the 002, 003, MBox Pros were more profitable.
