low latency monitoring in Pro Tools 11 - IS THERE AN ANSWER ....?

I have encountered an intermittent problem using low latency monitoring in Pro Tools 11. When I go into Low Latency Monitoring mode, my main monitor output is muted so that the engineer or headphone feed can't hear anything. If I go out of low latency monitoring, audio is then audible.

Is there an answer to this ...?

When I make an audio track and wish to input monitor with record enabled, if I turn on low latency mode I cannot hear the audio. The meters are indicating that there is a signal present etc. If I turn low latency off, then I can hear the audio.....

Go to the i/o setup page and set the "Low Latency Monitor" output to the desired one.

Indeed. I never use LLM and simply set the playback buffer to 64 while tracking

How can you assign it the diresd output ? there was no menu to click inside this window ?

It should be on your computer already! You can find it via the ProTools Help menu.

I just checked the manual and I think low latency monitoring is only available with HDN
