Default New Mc DSP plugs finally released!
For those that have been waiting, Mc DSP has finally released V5 of their plugs bringing AU support and new feateures as well as the long-awaited Ultimate Compressor 6030.

Updates to existing individual plugs are available at $29 each. Packs/bundles also have thier pricing points.

I missed that one..

Glad I didn't fork over the 'hard-earned' this morning.. I'll wait 'til I get an answer back from McDSP about the differences between 4.x and 5 for the plugs I use. Maybe by then they'll have something for Windoze.

I doubt I'll hear anything. EJ posted in another thread that the Windoze folks won't see any love until Q1-2011

Oh well... not like I need more plugs..

Oh well; they're working fine now so they're jus gonna lose out on $$$.. U kno how we are when we 1st see it, we're ready to get it; by then(1st quarter) I won't give a hoot-nanny...

Stolen from my other post on the PT 9 thread:

-The new v5 McDSP plugs are currently for Intel-Mac systems only (OS 10.5.x and 10.6.x).
-v5 assets will authorize v4 versions
-A PowerPC version will be available in late December.
-The PowerPC version will be for Pro Tools only, and will not support AU.
-Windows versions are scheduled for release in Q1 of 2011.
-McDSP v5 plugs will no longer be transferrable between users.

AKAICT- the only plugs that got a facelift are FilterBank, CompressorBank, Analog Channel, and Mc2000.
