Zoom R16 - CAN work with Protools 8 as Controller

I use on my computer Windows 8.0 / 64 bits, MidiOX, for Midi redirection LOOPBE1 ... It's work fine .....

Hi I am new to the forum. I saw this post and I thought I would try to get my r-16 to work with pro tools 8. The midi is working but I can't get the sound to work other than though the usb mic. I can't get any sound to come through the interface either. Does anyone have any suggestions ?

God, I'm going crazy, left few days and my R16 still doesn't work in Pro Tools

You really should start your own thread as this thread is not related well. Pro Tools 8 does NOT work with R16 or any USB microphone. I am guessing you are using a newer version of Pro Tools and the USB mic works because it is set as the "audio engine" in Pro Tools(Setup>Hardware menu). Change the audio engine to the R16 to use that(instead of the USB mic). If the R16 is not an available choice, then you need a driver for it(Core Audio for a Mac, ASIO for a PC).

Midiox is a free download from midiox.com and its for verifying that midi data is sent and/or received

Sorry about not being clear. I was after a copy of the midiox script for the r16/r24.
Ikafish, the scripts original developer, has since my post contacted me saying he doesnt have a copy anymore so at the moment there is no locatable copy of it. Its a shame its links have expired. I can host it, if there is a copy anywhere please forward.
