Default Soundminer XP

We're probably about to switch to PC TDM after years on Mac. Curious if any Soundminer users can comment about the differences on XP? Also curious if we will have to buy the XP version(s) outright or if there's a crossgrade from V4 pro. I'll contact Steve at SM soon just curious if anyone has any comments.
Thanks
Jamie

Hi,
You have to re buy soundminer for xp. It's just about the same. The search is a little different. I never understood this. In the osx version. typing "explo" will bring up all the files with explosion in it. In the XP version, you have to type "*explo" or the whole word correctly. I actually hate this. I'd love the search function to be identical on both versions.
Best,
Brandon
