Default 001 --> 002. Things to be aware of...

Hi all,

i've finally managed to sell my 01v + digi001 so i can finally buy the new Digi002.

I'd like to know from expereinced users things that have gone wrong with their systems.

Sessions from the past will open without problems ???

All plugins are lost ???

I still can stop this movemet if someone tells me not to do it...

I'd thank any comments,

Al.

can you please tell me way you think the 002 is better for you?

I think it's better, because i'm only using the Master Fader of my 01v, that means, that fader cost me 2000 euros A bit expensive.

I really don't think that everything will improve a lot, but this way i can't get rid of a machine i'm not using, and i get a new machine that CAN control PT.

We'll see how it ends.

Al.

Same for me the 01V is just a digital patch bay.
but on the 002 you get less inputs?
do you think the sound is better in the 002?

I am not shore if this change is the right one.

Less inputs ???

nope, i think you get in Digi002 the 18 i/o that you allready had in Digi001. I didn't use the ADAT of my 01v to acces Digi001. I have the RME Adi-8 AD/DA.

As for the sound, i don't really care, i'm sure it won't be worse than Digi001, which i like very much.
