A price break for existing ProControl owners (got 2 of 'em) would be a REAL incentive, especially since _some_ owners were led to believe that the ProControl would gain some editing prowess with the existing hardware. Has this happened with v5.1 of PT? Gannon?

Lots of new ProControl stuff in 5.1. Notably Plug-in flip, Alpha latch mode, Auto Input/Input Only switching, full support for multi-channel panning and multi-mono plug-ins, and more. We really tried to address your requests and nailed most of them. If something is missing, most likely it's coming in the next update!

RE: Edit Pack, I wish there were a way to make it easier to get into, but there just isn't. We are barely going to be able to fill orders as it is. People who have seen it are ordering it without hesitation, so the demand is very high and our cost to produce it are high as well, so there isn't a lot to play with. All I can say is, it's worth it! I'm totally hooked on having buttons for often used operations and once you've mixed in surround with the panners, there's no going back.

Be cool!

" the panners the panners the panners "

OK just what the Sam Hill are you supposed to get up to with 2 panners?, Send Roger Rabit and Jessica's footsteps whizzing round the room in a chase scene?
Please give some examples or is it merely a man - breast 'thing'.

Jules, It's a breast thing, I would love to explain but there might be children reading this, so I'll have to pass on this one. Just think "circular synchronised movements, left goes counter clockwise and right goes clockwise".

I knew there was a reason for the demand for pictures!

So, I'm on the cusp of becoming a PC user, and I'm curious... it seems like there are a few functions repeated between PC and EP, and the literature states the EP requires PC, and I'm wondering... if you won't use the joysticks (bc you do music and don't mix in surround), is it worth it to have an EP with my PC?

Thanks all. Looking forward to hanging out in this forum more.
