monitor options
sorry, computer monitors not monitor monitors.
looking for alternative to apple displays to go with the pro tools rig. what i would really like is the screen from the 17" macbook pro! does this exist? preferably small screen, high resolution, vesa mount, internal psu, minimal plastic round the edges, pack-in-a-box friendly (like square instead of round edges). any tips?

IMHO, just go to a computer shop and take a look around---- unlike studio monitors, computer monitors really are about what visually stands out to you and you alone.

Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of computer shops with stock where I can look at options. Mail order only for me.
I am looking at this: http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/p...CBUMBE/EN-spec But would prefer smaller physical size with same resolution if possible.
