I want to upgrade to PTHD 10 but cant'

I decided to trade my PTHD 8 Accel with 96 i/o to PTHD 10 HDX (with a new HD i/o) and also buy a Mac pro to replace my G5 but as far as I know it is not possible to do so because HDX cards are not available now.
In fact, just trade all my actual setup for a brand new one.

I understood that HDX cards will not be available before the end of the year ...
Does anyone know if it is possible to make the trade deal now, get PTHD 10 and HD i/o now and get the HDX card later on ?
I could not find a clear answer on this.

Supposedly, the HDX cards are supposed to ship at the end of November or early December.

I thought I heard on one of the AES Avid video that they hoped the cards would be ready to ship early next year.
