Is it wishful thinking to hope 2018.11 fixes the issues present in 10.13.4 on up?

I hope they fix the bug that writes newly imported and consolidated files back to the location of the originating session and NOT the audio folder for the new session.

Create a new session > import session data from a another while consolidating from source media "with handles". New consolidated files are indeed generated, BUT reside in the audio folder of the session imported from, not the the opened session receiving the new material.

This makes delivering FX sessions to the mix theatre a PITA because I have to revert back to using PTHD 11.3.2 just to regain the proper function of this feature.

Thinking of renaming 11.3.2 to "Track Transfer". Seems appropriate.

I sold my HD native + Omni and got Apollo 8 since 1 year, I have my HD plan expired last month and I did not renew, I upgraded my old pro tools 9 (was expired) this week since I see no value renew my HD license vs normal license for future.

I did the same thing about two years ago and it was one of the best decision I have ever made. My rig is rock solid with the UAD Apollo. I was getting all kinds of error codes with the Avid Hardware and as soon as I switched to UA it all went away and not to mention the sound was much better IMO.

By all means let them not stop fixing bugs! I'm still waiting for several bug fixes that were introduced as early as v11 or maybe even earlier!

Well, they have today and tomorrow to make it happen.

Otherwise it's 2018.12

If they're fixing, testing and fixing again, I'm cool with the that. Well known bugs notwithstanding, 2018.10 has been fine for me. Then again, I do all of my midi/VI work in another program.
