I agree, and not because I think someone shouldn't post unless they have read the whole 1300 page manual, (if you have a question - by all means post it up,) but because its usually faster to do a simple search in the pdf manual, instead of having to wait a few hours before someone responds.

Usually, you will be up and running much quicker, and you will have a better user experience.

It's amazing to find out that you Benoni and Southsidemusic are the owners of this forum.
I did all the things listed above and I read the manual as well, but still got the problem.
If you find my questions not good enough, don't answer ! Your not obligated too !
Are you some Avid fans that can't tolerate if someone has a problem and can't fix it ?
By the way, for me, the Avid Costumer Service is awful. Pretty bad. I paid as much as I paid for my desktop computer, and by the way, Benoni, is not a PC. So if it worked well with you, it doesn't mean that is has to work with me. For being a moderator not much of a understanding guy.
I will keep trying to make it work, I if I can't, I will go back to PT 10.
Thanks.

Neither of the gentlemen that you talked about own this forum; no individual does. We all just post here on our own time and own dime trying to help people. Getting told to read the manual or documentation shouldn't be taken as not wanting to help but as a message that sometimes you can find your answer quicker doing that than posting here and waiting for an answer.

It's like the old proverb: give a man a fish and you feed him for one meal; teach that same man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime. If you follow COMPLETELY the steps outlined here you WILL be able to Rewire Reason 7 and PT11. There's plenty of people on this forum on both Mac and PC who are doing so now without problems and we've given you the steps to make it so (Jean Luc Picard hat on).

We've been nothing but nice to you and if you want help in the future it is suggested that you treat us the same way. Throwing brickbats won't help your standing here.

I did everything that it said in the manual, and I still can make it work.
Either Reason quits unexpectedly or it doesn't work with PT 11, the are both open, in my instruments track I have opened it in the inserts area, it shows perfectly well, auto-launch Reason but when I push play in PT 11 it doesn't start playing in Reason and viceversa.
Believe me, I do all that it's in my power to solve the problem by my own. I am a "manual reader" kind of person, but still doesn't work. I even delete my PT 10 and 11, all the plugins, erase any trace of them being install ever and installed again only PT 11 and I still got this problem that I mentioned earlier. And believe me I try, cause I'm even reading and writing in a different language that my own.
And for the comments that you said were brickbats (?), were that way cause I smell sarcasm in the comments of the other fellas.
Thanks.

Did you launch Reason by itself and set it to run standalone?

There's no reason (sorry for the bad pun) Reason 7 shouldn't work with PT11 given the right install and procedures involved.

Whoa, relax bro. I never said anyone should not be able to post. I was not even responding to you, I was responding to Southsidemusic and making a general comment. Many times doing a search of the pdf manual will giver you an answer much faster, NOT always. It's a suggestion meant to HELP, not out of malice or disdain. I want people to be able to find the answers quickly, because sometimes minutes are money. That's all, just a friendly suggestion that I use as well. And don't mistake the moderator badge for any kind of authority, I have none.

Now lets get back to troubleshooting your problem.

Can you detail everything you have tried so far?

What OS? Do you have the drivers for your interface installed.

You seem to have gotten Reason 7 to open.... Did you open it in STANDALONE before opening in Pro Tools?

When opening via Rewire in PT, have you tried creating an instrument, just start with Thor, and record a couple notes in Reason? Does this work?

Have you tried recording a few MIDI notes in Pro Tools and have them trigger Reason?

Do you have your Instrument track/MIDI track set to trigger the correct channel in Reason to trigger the instrument?

Do you have a co-install of PT10.3.6? Does Reason 7 work via Rewire there?

Delete everything related to my PT 10 and 11 from my computer and also my old Reason 4.
installed PT 11 with drivers again and Reason 7 (done the 32 bit check on the app).

What OS? Do you have the drivers for your interface installed.

OS 10.8.4 / Yes

Yes

When opening via Rewire in PT, have you tried creating an instrument, just start with Thor, and record a couple notes in Reason? Does this work?

Yes, I do have the choice to open Reason as an Insert in a audio/instrument/Aux track, and when I do it also launch Reason but when I push play in PT it doesn't start Reason, so I press stop and go to Reason and push play and Reason starts but PT still not working.
I check the "connect" tab in Reason and sometimes it seize internal and other ReWire.
When I can make everything work, Reason quits unexpectedly.

Do you have a co-install of PT10.3.6? Does Reason 7 work via Rewire there?

I did have PT 10.3.6 and worked just fine with my Reason 4.

Any way you can re-install 10.3.6 and check to see if Reason 7 is working in there?

I don't know - but I think that's cheaper than buying a new drum program

I'm getting it this weekend
