12.6 Feature request.

Stability yes, a phase button in the mixer (duh) and havent seen this mentioned but would love to have a track freeze column in the tracks list so I can see (and select) which tracks are frozen.

To every issue I have here I contact the Avid Support and try explain the best way I can. I know how boring it is, but this is the only thing I can do to help them. I have a Paragon backup of my working install and a backup of the new versions to test. I aways report the issues and go back to the my stable and working version (12.3.1).

STABILITY.....track preset without the 'hack', really want the ability to create and adjust curves on midi control data as drawing with 'free hand' pencil tool is sooo time consuming, folder tracks plus drag & drop of VIs and plugins from a browser would be so welcomed.

Yes, we all want stability. And not to derail this discussion, but bugfixes would come in 12.5.x releases. It would take some new features to grant a 12.6.0 release, let alone PT13 which would have to be something huge.

That's an unbelievable thing to say. From a Moderator, no less! Unfortunately it's probably true. My disgust for Avid has been growing by leaps and bounds lately.

Yes! I agree 100%!

I have been on PT 12.5 all morning on a MIDI project and 3 crashes so far when dragging MIDI regions (same bug existed in 12.4).

Other bugs I constantly see:
New: When collaborating, my QWERTY keyboard is super Laggy.

PT 11 - Now: MIDI inputs on instrument tracks are sometimes unable to be selected when using Multi-timbral/multichannel options.

PT 12: Sync Points on MIDI regions are not working as they should be in PT 12 (create a sync point and switch from tick to Sample based and you will see what I mean)

PT 12: Often when you launch a session and play right away, the audio will sound all distorted and jumbled until you change the buffer setting.

PT 10 - now: Sustain Pedal with MIDI notes is messed up when MIDI merge is on and during recording. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqc3IzWSnoY)

PT 8 - now: Import session data with sessions with tempo changes are buggy as anything (tracks import at 1,000's of measures off from where they should be)

I moved to PT 7.3 from Sonar back in the day because Sonar had so many bugs and Pro Tools was rock solid. I next to never saw a bug. Now I feel like I deal with 5-6 bugs a day in Pro Tools. Stability needs to be improved and it should be the #1 priority right now.

we have not seen One .1 release yet (example: 12.2.1, 12.3.1 ... ) i do not see Avid changing anything regarding this now ..

am i wrong ?? did i miss a .1 ??
