Default digidesigns AS plugins

do the digidesign or bomb factory audiosuite plugins introduce latency?

RTAS plugs should not introduce latency... Audiosuite plugs process off line, so there would be no latency with those at all.

Some RTAS plug-ins will introduce latency. Audiosuite plugs don't introduce any latency.

I can confirm it for you - there are several RTAS plug-ins that introduce latency. Like mradlauer1 said, AudioSuite doesn't because it's a rendered process. The latency with Audiosuite is the processing.

You can check the latency of RTAS plug-ins by cmnd-clicking the volume scribble on the channelstrip that holds the plug-in.
