Default Pitch

Hi,

Does someone know how to modify the pitch of a playlist? I want my voice to sound like one of a chimpmunk... Is there a way?

Thanks in advance

Pitchshifting can be done in Audiosuite. Select a region, go to Audiosuite menu, select pitchshift, add +12 semitones. Instant chipmonk!

Thanks again

You can also record at half-speed.

First,
there´s a differnce between slowed down and sounding slowed down. PTLE´s pitchshift will make your voice sound slowed down, which it actuallt isn´t. It´s only transposed.
Secondly,
Audiosuite is a file-based system for effects. It writes a new file with an effect integrated ( as opposed to RTAS, which does it in realtime during playback ).

I think we're aware of the difference between pitch shifts and speed effects. I was simply trying to throw out another option...

Sorry,
just commenting on ufo´s
"can this same task achieve complete slow down of an entire track?".

Actually, recording at half-speed would double the speed of your singing too, as well as raise the pitch, just like ReniuR said ( In case you wanted to sound really weird ).
