Default Why does the Mbox have two headphone outs if...

...only one works at a time?! I just had my first recording session with my new Mbox and I was dissapointed to find that only one of the two of us could listen to the midi tracks because when the back headphone jack is being used the front jack shuts off. Can someone please enlighten me as to why Digi would do this?

I'm not really sure why they did it - prehaps to just accomodate the different headphone jack connection types now that more pro headphones are using the 1/8" plug instead of the 1/4". Doesn't really matter though - the fact that both cannot be used at the same time is covered in the first couple pages of the manual and/or "getting started" guide - shouldn't have been a surprise to you.

Yeah, I know I need a Y cable. I just wish I had known it before tonight. Oh, well, not a big deal. I don't remember reading anything about the jacks in the "Getting Started" manual. Maybe I skimmed that section.
