When are the updates coming?

Gee Wizzz it's been over 3 years since the Stand Alone Editor was requested and it is top on the list at the Pro Tools Feedback site. It's been over 2 years since the Eleven Rack Expansion Pack came out is this going to be the 1st and last one?

PT-11 came out with no interface. (You should take that as a hint.)

I wouldn't quite go there just yet - PT11x64 has been and should have been at the top of the resources list for avid for the last several years

That being said in the next year we should see something b/c they are pretty much done and waiting on 3rd parties to catch up - I don't see why they would let it die - its a really great box

I doubt we'll see anything new for 11r. Like you said it's been 3 years and we haven't even gotten bug fixes for ERXP.

There are some bugs with scrolling past the last MIDI page, Compressor bugs, XTC amp bugs, there may be some more but I can't remember. I have some videos showing them on Youtube but they are marked private, if you find the original threads on here you can view them.

There is also the inability to save while the cab block is selected, as well as the buggy OSX drivers that require many of us to reboot before using PT.

Now with PT11 we've lost the GUI/embedding features too, if I'm not mistaken.

Nope, the embedding feature is still there. For awhile I was having a problem with it, but it turned out to be a problem with the drivers not uninstalling and multiple entries showing up in PT11.

Whats really odd is that AVID Advertises 11R on their site and still makes it and years have gone by, its really quit odd that a company that put the time into making such a good AMP/EFFECTS unit would just put it up on a shelf along with all the customers that bought it.
