LCR aux busses and plugins
Quick question:
In the interest of saving DSP, recently have been doing dialog level splits and mixing as LCR for feeding 5.1 mixes. Had previously either dealt strictly mono path feeding the 5.1, or 5.1 busses for masters. With the adding of LCR, having any processing (desser, eq, compression) is multimono at the LCR bus level- and the when you open the plugin-- the display on the plugin always defaults to left channel-- as oppose to center where the dialog is 98% of the time... Switching to center is fine, but then closing and reopening goes back to left channel display. Is there any way to for it to remember to open to the C channel of the multimono on plugin open everytime. Any key that sticks that as the default view? Thanks!

Re: LCR aux busses and plugins
There's a few ways to do this. If you really want to save DSP, make a mono subpath on your LCR dialog buss, create a Master Fader, assign it to the subpath and put your Dx chain on the Master. Youi'll only need one instantiation that way. The way I like to organize my Dx chain is to make a Window Configuration that opens all the plugins in the chain. if you select center channel on the plugins, they will open that way when you select the configuration.
