Unhappy Changing Sample rate from 96 to 44.1

Hi there, I'm new to the forum and pretty new to pro tools. A few months ago, I had an acoustic guitar and vocals recorded at a 96 sample rate resolution. Months later, i had drums, bass, piano, percussion, etc, added and recorded at a professional studio at 44.1 (bad mistake!!) i now have to either change the 44.1 recording up to 96 or lower the ones i did at 96 to 44.1; this option seems more appropriate and recommended. On the tracks recorded at 96 i already have quite a bit of automatization and plug-ins applied. Is there any way to save the 96 resolution session at 44.1 but keeping the automatizations as well as not consolidating the tracks? Or do i necessarily need to consolidate tracks and export them at 44.1? i would love NOT to consolidate tracks yet and be able to open the session at 44.1 "magically" to then import the rest of recorded tracks....(maybe is impossible) any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hmm, maybe reimport the regions and swap them out, but I don't know if that will leave your automation alone. Probably not.

thanks for your help, but reimporting the regions will not keep automations...
