Waves Tracks Live - anyone running succesfully with FWx?

We did try to use the new Waves live tracking DAW with FWx interface and got initialization error, same thing with two Mac machines, later on, one of computers had no issues with tracking from the same FWx using Reaper DAW. I'm wondering if anyone else has tried and is successfully using the Waves DAW with FWx?

any luck so far? would be interesting to know. i had not have the chance so far to try tracks live with my sc48. but will let you know asap when i tried

No issues with a 002 or 003 rack, or PCIe HD Native so far.
(Mac Pro 5,1 and also MacBook Pro Late 2011)

I have not tested with FWx yet... will be using it this summer with a SC48 though, so I'm subscribed.

I'd try Waves Tech Support... they'll get you sorted in no time.

It should really work with nearly anything I would think...

Just a heads up, if you have not purchased Tracks Live then they will decline support. It's not expensive, but this is something to be aware of.

Good catch... my bad... this is true.

In my experience, they are still usually helpful if they are able - and at minimum I have ALWAYS got help via email even if out of WUP....

So, if they are unable to help by phone, they may still help via email...

Regardless... I'd try giving them a shout...

On the other hand, $99 for support for a year really isn't a big deal , and may be the only time you ever need to spend it :)

AND IT STILL COMES WITH MULTIRACK FOR FREE ! ! ! ! !

That is well worth spending the $99

Technical support for Tracks Live is available only to clients that purchased the Premium Service Pack.

That's the response I got after emailing them about incomplete documentation, features shown in the documentation that were missing from the product, and asking about control mapping for Split on Playhead. Which is fine, I was using the free version and they did state previously that support is limited to those who buy it. Unfortunately this means I was unable to put the product through its paces to decide if I would buy it, so it is a funny Catch-22 situation.

It is built on Ardour, so perhaps if you can't resolve something based on the Waves manual, there may be more info in the Ardour documentation?

Or maybe the Ardour forums or userbase may be of some assistance?

I'll be working with Tracks and MultiRack some this summer with LS9, M7CL, SC48 and Pro 2 - at least... maybe more... so I'd like to have my head around potential issues with any of them

i guess everyone found out already...

tracks have had some issues with "some audio devices" in the past, the new version, as i found is working with FWx flawlessly.
