Default Workspace Search Errors

I'm having a problem in the Workspace browser where searching on some terms returns an error: BNeoa_Utils::Find Asset Failed (Searching Databases)

There seems no rhyme or reason as to what returns the error, and some searches I've done recently were fine on words that now return errors. I've tried the usual - trashing dbs, db cache and prefs, . Nothing seems to fix it. It pretty much renders the search function useless.

Also, I've noticed that after I trashed all caches & prefs, PT didn't seem to rebuild them on the next boot.

Anybody seen this, or know what it is?

PT v8.0.4 on a 2 x 2.93 G Quad Core with 8G of RAM
Mac OS 10.6.4

Pt doesn't put that stuff on every drive now, since 8.0.3 I think. It's why we can unmount drives easily now. I think it just puts them on the system drive. Ff

Seems OK now. I deleted all prefs and caches, ran a permissions fix, shut down my machine and restarted. Something got flushed and I'm up and running again...
