pace Ilok
I have a m- powered system. Is it possible, suggestible to use the Pro Tools m-powered ilok for a 3rd party plug in authorization? I just ordered the nomad plug ins from audio midi (for 30$!) and this is one of the install options..I don't want to take a chance of messing up my pro tools system...
thanks in advance |

Re: pace Ilok
From what I can see, the Ilok that came with MPowered is a normal Ilok, the same as any other Ilok, which can be used for any 3rd party software that uses Ilok for authorization, so this should be fine. Iloks can hold over a hundred licenses. This should cover about anything, but if you decide to buy any products by Waves, you're better off getting a new Ilok that's dedicated for just their products, especially if you upgrade to their bigger bundles. It will just be easier to manage in the long run.

Re: pace Ilok
appreciate the quick response. I "assumed" this would be the case, but that can go south quick..
