Default Mix Volume Question

NOt the typical mix volume question(or maybe it is), but does iTunes do some kind of compression when using it to burn cds? My mixes always seem to be a few db quieterin iTunes than in PT. The mix sounds the same just something screwy with the volume. Any suggestion? I used to have Toast and Jam in OS9, but have never updated past 5.0.2

Default Re: Mix Volume Question

iTunes doesn't do anything during burning, but it does have lots of stuff that it does during playback (whether from disk or CD), which I would recommend turning off (easy to find in iTunes prefs).

Also check that your iTunes volume and computer output volume are at 100%.
