Error Popup on usb drive (mp3 player) disconnect
When I disconnect a usb drive when I have a session open I get an annoying popup over and over again until I shutdown protools. What the window says is this:
Could not complete your request because: Assertion in "\code\azores_Salieri\AlturaPorts\NewF ileLibs\BDM\BDM_Workspace.cpp", line 1293 It's just an mp3 player and no files from it are in the protools session. If this has happened to anybody else a workaround or fix would be welcomed. Pro Tools 6.4.1 Intel Pentium(r) 4 1.80GHz 1,00 GB of RAM Win XP Pro Version 2002 (sp2) |

Re: Error Popup on usb drive (mp3 player) disconnect
This is because PT still "owns" the drive - it gets a drive letter in the Explorer, right?
PT continously map connected drives for the Digidesign Databases. Use the Workspace Browser to Disconnect (Unlock/Unmount) the player before you unplug it. Regards, John
