Question Strike crash cymbal cuts out during double bass

Hi everybody! I'm new to these forums and have already learned a lot from all the great threads within.
My question is about Strike. I'm using the Heavy Metal kit, and created some patterns. One of the patterns has double bass throughout with one crash hit per measure. The crash hit cuts out, and it appears to be because of the double bass. If I remove the double bass drum from the pattern, the cymbal rings out as it should.
Any ideas why this would happen? And possibly a fix?
Thanks!

How much RAM are you using? I've never had this happen on ezdrummer or SD2, but I haven't used Strike (yet). You could mute the kicks and bus the crash to an audio track and record it(then mute or remove it from the instrument track).

Talking Re: Strike crash cymbal cuts out during double bass

Plenty of RAM (4 GB, not nearly using it all). I figured it out though in case anybody gets the same problem, should have seen it earlier.

Changed the Polyphony (voices) in the Strike Configuration box from 16 (the default I think) to Unlimited.
32 or higher also worked.

I didn't realize how many voices were actually involved when just the bass drum and crash cymbal were playing. I wonder if this is because of the amount of virtual mics that are used for each instrument? Not imperative but I'd love to hear your opinions about that...
