EUCON, PT crashes after setting up PFL/AFL routing.

Why does PT get so unstable after setting up AFL/PFL patching on my TDM HD6 system?
Changing patching with artist mixers off, everything is fine.

It was better in 3.0 but has gotten worse in 3.01. and 3.1.

Are AVID doing any testing with artist gear on TDM/HDX rigs?

It seems that eucon is really bad at handling changes in PT sessions.
Or is it just the artist gear that has tiny processors that cannot handle the pressure?

Create a session on a TDM system with eucontrol 3.1. and an OMNI interface. (artist mix/control connected). I am using a HD5 rig at the moment.
Have tried this with only a HD MADI interface also, same crash.

When you start, make sure it is the default solo in place monitoring and no PFL/AFL patching.
Create 64 audio tracks and add EQ7 DSP plug-in on all of them from the artist surface.

Fiddle around with different tracks a bit and adjust EQ parameters.

Now, switch over to AFL monitoring, PT ask you to setup AFL/PFL patching.
Setup AFL/PFL to output 7-8 on the OMNI and that it should mute output 5-6 when in solo mode.
Hit ok.

Start to select different tracks in a fairly rapid way with the EQ focused.
After a while PT crashes.

Happens everytime for me.
Have tried on two different computers, same crash, even with just the original plug-ins loaded.

It was a little better on eucontrol 3.0, but its gotten worse on 3.01 and 3.1.

You really really need to fix this now! What is happening? Seems to be a problem in PT11 as well. And what is happening with the random switching of solomode????
