How To Monitor S/PDIF Inputs
I recently hooked up my Yamaha MO8 to my Digi 002 via the digital S/PDIF inputs. It seems I can monitor the keyboard coming into the S/PDIF ins only if I record-enable the track. Which means that every time I record a pass on a midi track, I'm also recording digital audio on the track I'm monitoring the keyboard on.
Is there any way to monitor the S/PDIF inputs without having to put an audio track in record? Thanks in advance. JH |

Re: How To Monitor S/PDIF Inputs
Use an aux or instrument track rather than an audio track until you have your MIDI recorded. You could also use "Input Only" monitoring (tracks menu), but that may not jive with how you're using your MIDI track.
