Artist Control opens plugin automatically.

Logic Pro X 10.3.3

I never noticed this behaviour before the recent Eucon update (3.7) but now, whenever I select a track by touching the fader, the input instrument on that track will automatically open and I DO NOT want it to open! Having to reach for the mouse and close it is just irritating.

Anyone got any fixes? Maybe it's something I can change in a preference menu?

Does the pref "Open Plugins on Workstation when Editing" have any effect ? Does this happen if you select via a button (and not touching the fader) ?

Changing prefs doesn't make a difference.
Also opens plugin when track selected via touchscreen.

I'll try next week when I'll in front of a system with logic on but I was playing with it last weeks and didn't notice this.

I definitely see things are not right with Logic Pro with this (PT works OK)
I'm seeing if you go to a track with and EQ it does close the plugin/Instr windows and then it doesnt open again, can you check that.

Also whilst we will report to Apple you should too.

That's good to know. I suspect that recent logic update to 10.3.3 is the problem. I can't update to logic 10.4 as I'm terrified to update the OS to High Sierra!
Also worth noting that changing any Eucon preferences makes no difference whatsoever in logic 10.3.3.

Pro Tools it is then!

Was this ever fixed? It still happens to me in Logic 10.7, even when I have the Eucon preferences "Open windows on workstation when editing" setting to OFF.
