Anyone used PT for warping tracks like you can in Ableton?

I ha ve used ableton for compiling DJ sets by Warping tracks for the beat mating purpose.

Would this be the same using PT8?

Elastic audio is a super-cool and mega-easy feature of PT that makes me forget about plugin-compensation, really! Read chapter 38 (PT8 manual) about it. I have been able to fix a recording that has been a bit off the beat in seconds. Nice combination of auto-transient-detection and manual stuff that gives you full rhythmic control of any part of your audio-regions. Far more intuitive than in Live IMHO.

Like i said i offten put DJ together and have used Ableton previously.

I have warped the tacks (for sync purposes)then arranged them it the order i wanted with fades etc

So potools can basically do the same?

To be honest i have found ableton warping to be a headache and very frustrating.
