Default Studio Acoustics

Im looking at a kind of Warehousy, Lofty, kind of space in an industrail part of town.
High ceilings, lots of floor space. Great for filming and video work. Is it rediculous to think I can do audio and mixing in a big space like this too? Are high ceilings impossible to treat or do they even matter?
