Wonder if it installs on 10.9 Mavericks? Anyone tried it? Have to buy it to find out over here.

Pro Tools System Usage results on a similar system.
ARC Plates:x4
43 % @ 44.1Khz
61% @ 96Khz

ARC Chambers:x4
74 % @ 44.1Khz
76% @ 96Khz
That’s crazy .. what’s wrong with your system? I laid down 10 instances on chambers on a session yesterday, it only clocked 26% @ 44.1 on a native system ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You can't get the demo?
Even if you can I doubt the WavesHell you have would allow it to install/work. All I know is the last 9.x WavesHell would not install on Mavericks - had to go to Yosemite.

Thanks Musicman. We have both the TDM stuff and, I think 9.6, installed on Mavericks here. Waves, when we finally got the right tech support guy, talked me through how to do it. It’s not supposed to work but does if you jump through a couple of hoops to do it. Don’t know if the new Chambers will work but we have the Abbey Road Plates installed. Could get the demo even though we haven’t gotten any new Waves stuff in quite awhile just to avoid the hassle of going through the install process again.

1024 (2048)

256 is the lowest I can go. Solid though.

Certainly my new favourite reverb, and worth every cent.
That's a bit scary, because 96k is my go to session sample rate. Hopefully it will fair better once I put it to work.

I tried this out, liked it and purchased it. I also tried the PRS amps set and enjoyed for the most part. I put Chambers in after finding a decent low-gain patch on the "Dallas" amp. This combo was nice. It gave me some nice Gilmour and Knopfler style vibes. I still need to dial Chambers in better.

Performance-wise, it did not enjoy being part of a deep linear chain. I was testing from within a Session I already had open, so I just created my normal ITB amp sim chain. Mono track for the guitar signal feeding into an Aux track with the amp-sim, and a 3rd track where I "print" the output for easier processing. A habit I got into with weaker computers. Anyhow, this did fine going straight to the master out. When I sent it into the chain I had set up for the actual Session, the system usage meter jumped from the high 20's up to the high 70's. (fwiw - The rest of the chain was a bus each for guitars, mix and a test mastering bus before hitting the master out with only a peak limiter engaged. The three busses have 3-4 plugs each going.)

although a little ticked over the fact I already own the abbey road "collection", not "bundle", chambers wasnt included at the time. That being said, for 29 bucks it sounds great.
