Default No PT 9 license in ilok

Hi I'm using PT 11.3.1 now but I'd like to use PT 9 on my lap top. I don't see my license for 9 anymore...is there a way to get it back in ilok so I can proceed?

Just use PT10 instead. Your PT11 license is bundled with a license for PT10

Thanks for the reply. On further consideration I realize I need to have a second ilok to use on the go. So my initial thought was to surrender? 9 to another ilok so I can keep my 10/11 ilok 2 license on my mac pro rig. I'd love to use 10 but I don't think it's possible to copy licenses. Forgive my lack of knowledge on this process...

The iLok assets are bundled, you can't split them up onto multiple iLoks. You also probably no longer have a PT9 asset at all as I believe it gets surrendered for the PT10+11 asset when you upgrade to 11.

If your goal is to have 2 iLoks with PT auths on both of them, you need to buy/own 2 copies of the software.

You don't "surrender" a license to another iLok, you can move a single License or a bundle of Licenses (like the 11/10) bundle to another iLok. But you can't separate licenses in a bundle, they are locked together.

If you upgraded Pro Tools 9 to Pro Tools 11 then you did surrender that license back to Avid, and it is gone for good....

If you have a valid pro Tools 9 License that was not surrendered and has disappeared from your iLok you need to contact iLok/Pace support.
