I'm sure we all know that dragging the CD Icon to the trash or selecting eject from the finder works...that's the obvious answer.
I think the question is really about what to do when using the Protools Keyboard and you want to put media into the drive...Kind of step one, before the other solutions are actually possible. I know Toast works, but what a pain when your installing or loading session files. I had saw the Desktop Eject button while I was working at a facility in Dallas, I snagged it and brought it back to Orlando with me and spread it around to friends...Never realized it was on my original OS9 install disk....DUH!! The solution I used was to use the keyboard control panel to map F15 to launch the "Eject" application in the utilities folder. Works like a champ
