Trouble Setting Up Midi Controller
I'm really confused about the process of setting up a midi controller. I have a Fatar Studio 490plus controller connected to a MOTU Fastlane USB Midi port and can't figure out how to set it up as a Midi Controller through the Peripherals Menu. Protools is only showing about 5 devices in the drop down box for Midi Controllers. Is it true that I have to either have one of these devices or program my Fatar to act like one of these? In fact, I don't believe it can be programmed.
I've already been through all of the OMS setup business as described in the manual but can't get beyond the Peripherals step. Please Help, Wally |

Re: Trouble Setting Up Midi Controller
Nevermind - figured it out. Apparently a keyboard is sometimes called a controller while at other times a device like a HUI is called a controller.
