Default CD burning w/o breaks - need help

Trying to burn live music w/o any breaks between tracks. I used peak made playlist exported to Toast 3.56 set all breaks to 0 seconds, but still get small moments of silence between tracks. Anyone know another way? Does a newer version of toast fix this? How about Jam?

i use MLCD for this specific purpose. i use one soundfile, in sdII, add mrkers where i want them, then in mlcd use the markers to select track numbers. works like a charm if you can navigate the obsolete mlcd interface.

You do all markings in Pro Tools? Does MLCD work w/ a Yamaha 4416? Tech Support - a little help.

As of right now, you cannot do this with any version of Toast. I use WaveBurner by E-Magic. Its kinda like 4 tracks of PT. It allows you to set IDs wherever you want and it shows waveforms. It also allows you to set croosfades between tracks and even edit the top and tail of each audiofile. Best of all it supports mono, interleaved stereo, and split stereo so you dont have to bounce to disk. Really powerful, useful, app. check it out at: http://www.emagic.de/english/product...veburner3.html

Thanks everyone!
Mike in Waveburner do you just select the audio you want and put it on the second pair of tracks. It sounds like you can. Very cut and paste. I really just want to capture a long concert cut it up to regions for iding each track and then burn it. Is this waveburner? How much is it?

Jam will do it, much simpler than MLCD. It will allow you to crossfade between tracks.

Also keep in mind that some drives will absolutely require a 2 second gap between tracks (it can't do Disc-at-Once? I think). Newer ones are probably all ok. I don't know, but ours cannot do the no-gap. I have to borrow a friend's for that.

I'm pretty certain I used Toast to do the "no- gap" with his CD burner.

Another option that worked for me (on the software side) was to just to bounce the live songs as contiguous Separated Regions from the entire concert in PT. Then I found out I needed another CD burner.

Not sure if that helps at all...

Benderbro can jam use info from PT ie markers. Don't you then have to create a jam image? It sounds time intensive. I'm looking for the Fastest way to go from 48k DATs to CD. Waveburner is sounding good. Looking for more info on that. Anyone?

u can use masterlist to do no gaps but thats a lot of work!
WAVEBURNER is very simple, no need to bounce files and it works perfect..
drag and drop into window, adjust overlaps if needed, adjust fades if needed, DONE!!!
