CD Studio from Gallery software seems to be the best utility for importing audio from CD. It's definitely the fastest, and it can make Split-Stereo (dual-mono) soundfiles for PT..
Check out: http://www.gallery.co.uk/CDStudio.html I think they have a speed comparison. It is definitely faster than Toast Audio Extractor. |

BarbaBatch 3.xx & Soundhack will both do this too, although I prefer the former. It is a function, however, that should be incorporated into PT.
