Well I finally figured it out . .Everyone that said it worked on their system where using G4`s.

It only works on my system ( G3 B/W 350 + Yam. 4416sx )if I first save the file in toast titanium as a DISC IMAGE. Why?,because according to the manual ," my cpu might be to slow to write or optimize on the fly, If you are writing from a network volume or CD that does`nt have sufficient speed to write directly". The CPU too slow might be th problem for me because my audio files were on my fast PT scsi .

Now to send my appologies to the Roxio sales rep.
