How to record over regions without deleting them?
Sorry I'm kind of new to Pro Tools and I'm probably just missing something really simple. Can I record over a region without deleting it in the process?

Re: How to record over regions without deleting them?
By default Pro Tools records in Non-Destructive mode. Meaning existing audio clips recorded over are still available, these clips are available in the Clip Bin. Non-Destructive recording mode is normal recording.

Then there is the playlist feature. That allows for many takes on a single track, with all avalable for building a comp track. Loop recording can be set to automatically add a new playlist for each pass too. Check YouTube for tutorials on using playlists.
