Re: Anyone who knows about time signatures help.
Guess we got side tracked there A good example of 7/4 that most of us know is Pink Floyd's "Money"(intro, verses and sax solo). 6/4 is more often done as 6/8 and would feel like a waltz(ONE two three FOUR five six). I bet some youtube videos might show this much better than my pitiful explanation

Re: Anyone who knows about time signatures help.
I think that may be Biblical. Something about not letting the "right hand know what the left hand is doing..." (Matthew 6:3 - a bit paraphrased...)

Re: Anyone who knows about time signatures help.
Here is Brubeck's "Unsquare Dance" with scrolling beats of 7. Funky bass solo worth a listen...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xddeWXM8kWg And one of my favorite Acoustic Alchemy tunes, "Playing for Time." Starts in 7/4, but shifts to 4/4 and back. A recorded live video from St. Lucia... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUXuG8Q_I-I Wore out the boombox on my boat listening to that one...
