Hybrid Library for Freelance Sound Designers

Just listened to this fantastic discussion from the guys at the Tonebenders Podcast about The Hybrid Library and sound effects libraries in general http://youtu.be/oCdquN2UYVc?t=58m30s

Martin Pinsonnault (the guest on the podcast) mentions the Hybrid Library, and I wanted to let you know that PSE is looking for applicants for the Hybrid Library for Freelancers now. A lot of our clients are big studios with lots of users, and with the Hybrid Library we really wanted to fill the freelancer's need for a big sound effects library when working away from a large studio facility.

Also the Hybrid Library was reviewed by Designing Sound last year here, and this year we've improved the metadata to make it uniform across several publishers.

Sorry Tom, didn't see this post until now. Yes I did, just a small part, about 2000 FX, but the rest is new to me.

Pro Sound Effects just opened up what they call their "Freelancer Program" year round. A few years back it was only open a few selective months out of the year. It gives you access to the Hybrid Library at freelancer pricing...one of the best deals for a very useable, general fx library under $2000. Also included are discounts on iZotope, Soundminer, and other software.

I've been using it for a few years now. Also their support is crazy good. The Hybrid Effects Drive died on me and got a replacement in a few days no questions asked.
Plus their upgrade path for users is very reasonable.
