Default Seperate Region, Command-E trouble

Hi,
since a few days, I have the problem, that Command-E is not working sometimes...,
after opening for example the preferences window, close it, it works again, but just for a time...

Anyone an idea..????

Best

Chris

OS 10.7, PT HD 10.3.4 (TDM)...

Yes...

Commands for zooming (R) and (T) work...

Command-F for fades also doesn't work...
Also tried with a connected bluetooth keyboard, it's not physical...;-)

No...it worked perfect before 10.3.4... never had that...and also don't use any KeyboardControlling Apps...or something, which could produce problems...

It looks, as all Command-Shortcuts of ProTools are blocked, WHEN it appears..
Finder Operations like Command-S, -C, -V work fine...
When it comes to special PT Commands, I get this behavior...
And like I said, just opening the prefs dialog box, closing it, without changes, working again...

It doesn't matter, if I'm in the edit window or for example MIDI Editor... same behavior here...

I'm on 10.3.2 still so idk about 10.3.4 but we all know there is a issue when PT10 starts up that the focus is shifted away from PT to the finder

I would be curious when it happens if the menu bar focus is on PT

Other than that I would say - rolling back a version see if the problem goes away

There is a known issue with 10.8
when PT is started the app focus is shifted away from PT to the finder

So you just click on the PT app and you are back ready to go

I am curious when it loses the commands does the menu bar show PT as the in focus app? Probably so if I had to guess but just a check to make sure

Well, I trashed the prefs today and will see, if it comes back... otherwise I'll try backing back down...

I'll let you know...
